We are a family of neighborhood churches
committed to the flourishing of indianapolis.

Our Congregations

Our community gathers for worship each Sunday in two different neighborhoods:
Midtown at 62nd & Keystone, and Downtown at East New York & Beville.
Skeptics, seekers, and believers are all welcome.

Soma Church exists to serve the city with the message and mercy of Jesus.  If you are walking through a particularly difficult time in life, we are here to come alongside you and care for you in any way we can.

visit a MISSIONAL COMMUNIty

Our community also scatters in homes throughout the week in what we call Missional Communities, or MCs. These groups of 10-20 people share a common life together as they pursue discipleship, care, and mission to the city of Indianapolis.

Curious? Here's the rundown.

WE LOVE JESUS

*

We are a community of people learning to be with Jesus and become like Jesus in the everyday mess of life. We believe the deepest desires of the human heart and our city can only be satisfied in a transformational encounter with Jesus Christ.

WE LOVE THE CITY

*

Indianapolis is dotted with hundreds of beautiful church buildings – it doesn't need another religious service. We are a life-giving movement where ordinary people can meet Jesus, live honestly in community with others, and live out the city-renewing mission of God in very ordinary ways.

WE ARE FAMILY

*

The church is not a place where you consume religious goods and services with like-minded people, but rather a diverse group of people committed to being a unified family. As family, we seek to reorient our life rhythms, preferences, and resources toward one another

WE ARE ORDINARY

*

Come as you are. We are a local church for the people of Indy and we don't have it all figured out. We don't expect you to have it all together either. This is a safe place to know others, be known by others, and honestly pursue the person of Christ.
