Thursday, July 14 | Rabble Coffee | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
ArtSpeak in its simplest form, is about rethinking beauty and its purpose. Creativity reflects the deep human desire for transcendence. We want to hear how artists in different mediums chase after it.
Each month, we bring in a different artist to talk about their craft. Whether it be music, paintings or writing, we want to give people a platform to talk about what they do and what inspires them. At the end of the day, we want to create a common-interest space where people can have honest conversations with one another about beauty. We want people to stop and think twice about beautiful things; to consider what creativity really means.
This month's featured artist is Deb Dunlevy. She was born in Indiana and grew up everywhere else. Eventually she went to college and got a respectable job as a teacher. Then she ditched that to go live on the other side of the world, where she had a few kids and learned what adventure was really about. Deborah now lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Nate, her three kids, and an Argentine hound dog. The Book of Sight, The Broken Circle, and The Secret Source, and The Poisoned Cure are her first four novels and will soon be followed by one more in the Book of Sight series.

These monthly events are hosted downtown at Rabble Coffee.
